You can create the Chart of Account in DacEasy Accounting & Payroll by yourself. First, high- light the account that you want to correct the code, and then correct the code up to 10 characters. Moreover, the hot-fax service does not support anything that you create or correct such as account code, chart of account
……etc. You can get more detail in Help \ On Line user guide chapter 6 pages 243. On the other hand, you can not delete the heading in the category from chart of account. If you think that the “Direct Expenses” is no use, you can delete everything in the category. But you can not change the heading in the category. Furthermore, you should correct the code in General Ledger after you change the code in the category carefully, make sure that there is no any account in the same code. The Investment account code is 1130, for example, there is no any account use the 1130 account code.
