DacEasy Accounting
The core of your system

DacEasy Accounting includes these five feature- rich modules:


General Ledger and Fixed Assets Module
Easy-to-use posting routines allow the GL module to efficiently collect the data that provides the journals and reports you need to monitor your business. Use the GL as a stand-alone module or integrate it with other DacEasy modules as needed. The Fixed Assets module can record depreciation of fixed assets using either the straight-line or double declining methods.
    DacEasy Accounting is very complete and extremely flexible. For example, you can save report and query results to an HTML file. You can even post GL transactions on-line as they are processed.
    Twenty-seven predefined charts of accounts are available for all types of businesses - for everything from service to manufacturing. You can easily enter and retrieve memos and notes for customers, vendors, products, services and fixed assets. Then, you can track these fixed assets by location; department; serial number; class; or service, retirement or generation dates.
    DacEasy Accounting lets you select predefined equity types, and attach a budget to every account. In addition, you can import transactions from comma-delimited files directly to the GL, and recurring GL transactions can be shown as a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of another account balance. It can even handle multi-jurisdictional tax rates for customers, and can be set up for calendar or fiscal year. Worried about data integrity or security? With the built-in Access Rights Control, you can rest assured that your data will be safe and secure.

Cash Module
The Cash module integrates with the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Payroll and Point of Sale modules, and it enables you to record receipts and payments without the hassle of conventional journal entries. The bank reconciliation function lets you quickly clear outstanding items and balance your bank statements. And, because it's on-line with the modules inside the core DacEasy Accounting package, you can review your on-line cash balance without posting.

Accounts Receivable and Billing Module

This powerful tool allows you to monitor and control your outstanding receivables for better cash flow. Among this module's many capabilities is a global change feature that lets you quickly modify any record in the system. In addition, you can assign invoice numbers manually or automatically, and easily evaluate sales performance by customer and item using the Billing Analysis reports. Since DacEasy Version 9 for Windows allows you to continue to enter data during invoicing, you can add additional customers and product information "on the fly." Then, you can produce Aging reports by Transaction Date or by Due Date, with the option to include or exclude paid invoices. You also have the power to check customer credit limits; track profitability of your sales staff; set freight carriers, FOB, and internal customer reference numbers; and track backorders or purge backorder files by product or customer.

Accounts Payable and Purchasing Module

The Accounts Payable module gives you the power to manage payments, control expenditures and adjust vendor balances, quickly and easily. In addition to allowing you to track merchandise ordered, received and returned, the Purchasing module can also generate purchase orders and purchase returns, thereby streamlining the payables process.

Inventory Management Module

The Inventory Management module provides accurate and timely information about your inventory's value and current status.  For example, valuable information about backordered items and current stock levels is easy to access. You can also maintain accurate stock levels with the physical inventory and assembly module. Inventory Management offers a wide array of capabilities, including the ability

to purge unwanted product records by Last Purchase/Sales Date. You can also quickly update the inventory tracking, commissionable status, recall by field, and serialization within the product records by making global changes. Minimum stocking levels can be preset, with alerts and standard reorder quantities set for when stock is low. This module includes three ways to track product inventory: normal, non-inventory and negative inventory. In addition, you can specify sales prices and discounts, list substitute items with a regular inventory item, and add direct labor costs to the assembly process. In addition, the component list adjustment allows insertion, deletion or replacement of components within an assembled product. Also, selling prices of products and/or groups of products can be adjusted by dollar or percentage amounts based on last cost. This module can be integrated with DacEasy Point of Sale or run stand-alone to track quantities on hand, units committed and on order.

DacEasy Payroll

Payroll is an optional module that provides a complete payroll and personnel management solution. Designed to simplify and automate your payroll process, it calculates withholding taxes, remembers deductions, prints checks and maintains earnings records for government reporting. This module can be used alone or integrated with DacEasy Accounting.

Payroll Entry
Use the Transaction Entry dialog box to record irregular payroll entries such as vacation and sick time for your employees.

DacEasy Order Entry

Providing more than simple invoicing, this add-on module can give your company a customer service advantage. In addition to processing orders, quotes, returns and blanket orders, Order Entry can be used to easily research account information. Order Entry also provides packing lists and a Production Schedule Report for fast order fulfillment. Order Entry can be used as a stand-alone module or integrated with DacEasy Accounting.

DacEasy Job Manager

This module includes Job Costing and Estimating and requires DacEasy Accounting Version 9 for Windows for operation. An optional interface is available for Payroll. The Job Manager optional module covers all phases of jobs in progress. From initial estimate, through all phases and sub-phases, Job Costing accurately accounts for costs up to completion. It simplifies accounting by providing important on-line information for materials, labor, overhead and time. Estimating is a bidding and quoting program that can produce twice as many bids in the same amount of time. Estimating eliminates forgotten bid items, while providing a flexible tool for customizing bids. It provides a powerful management tool that can be used in over 240 industries.

This add-on module can turn your PC into an efficient, easy-to-use point of sale system. It can process information on the spot for products, prices and even layaways. DOS cash drawers, barcode scanners and receipt printers are fully supported. On-screen payment verification and pole displays can also be used for fast, accurate check-outs. Point of Sale can be used as a stand-alone module or integrated with DacEasy Accounting Version 9 for Windows.

Point of Sale Register Use the Sales Register Entry dialog box to enter all your sales transactions. This screen records the customer information, the items sold and the amount received from the sale.

DacAccess Report Generator

The DacAccess Report Generator module simplifies departmental and consolidated financial reporting with ready-made standard financials. Using multi-file access, you can combine related data from various modules into one report. Customized reports are exceptionally easy to generate.

The following system requirements are the recommended minimums for running DacEasy Version 9 for Windows:
